Mission Trip to Romania

Hello readers! I’ll just jump right in to this post. There is a lady – Janet Miller (janetmillertx on Ravelry) - who is traveling to Romania with her daughter on a mission trip. She has written a devotional called Knitted Together with Christ, and will be leading this devotional study with the women in Romania. At some time during the study, she will be handing out dishcloths to remind the women that Jesus can wash them clean. So she has posted on Ravelry a request for people who feel led, to donate dishcloths or other handmade items (scarves, hats, etc.) - knitted or crocheted – to her trip so she can hand them out to the women without knitting them all herself! She leaves in March 2014, so you all have plenty of time to get knitting and crocheting! I already have a little dishcloth collection (picture left).

Here are two I recently finished, with the pattern Basketweaver by Meredith Sexton. It’s a fun, quick pattern, and only has a few errors, which are spelled out on my Ravelry project page.

The row counter I bought recently has been very helpful in keeping track of my rows :) It’s a Clover Knitting Stitch Counter Mini Kacha-Kacha, and it works great!
