Hi, I’m Kaitlyn. Thanks for stopping by The Craft Attic! I chose the name “The Craft Attic” because I love to go into my attic to search for forgotten yarn to use or unfinished projects to complete. Most of my knit and crocheted projects are made with “attic yarn,” as I like to call it; however, when I’m at a craft store, I might just look around for some new yarn… On my blog, you will find step-by-step pictures, free crochet and knitting patterns, and lots more! Most of the crochet and knitting patterns on this site are written by me, and some are other people’s patterns. If there’s a harder pattern, I will put up some pictures along with it to show what the project should look like each step. There will probably be more crochet patterns than knitting patterns because I am more advanced in crochet. If you would like to pin a picture to Pinterest, just scroll down to the end of the post and click the “Pin it” button. There are also “Print/PDF” and Facebook “Like” buttons at the end of each post. I am so excited to share my love of crafts with you, and I hope you have fun exploring The Craft Attic!
